Main Organising Committee for celebrating Education Day

The Ministry of Education has constituted a main programme organising committee for celebrating the National Education Day. The National Education Day is being marked on September 8.

The newly-appointed Education Minister Dhaniram Poudel is the coordinator of the organising main committee.

According to Ministry spokesperson, Dr Hari Lamsal, 12 various committees have been formed for marking the Education Day in a grand manner. The different committees formed for celebrating the Day include the Best School Evaluation Committee, the Programme Committee, the Education Souvenir Publication Committee and the Cultural Programme Committee, the Publicity Committee, the Internal Management Committee, the Panel Discussion Committee, the International Literacy Day Committee, the Sports Committee, the Coordination Committee, the Vidyabhusan and Girl Students Medal Management Committee, the Education Prizes Distribution Central Committee, the Campus Evaluation Committee and the Prize Selection Committee among others.

Representatives of different organisations working in the education sector participated in the meeting.
