Injured students out of danger

Kathmandu, July 5: As many as 24 students who were injured in an incident at the Pushpanjali School based in Tokha, Lalitpur on last Friday are reported to be out of danger.

Organizing a press conference here on Tuesday, the Pushpanjali Secondary School shared that 24 students injured when a wall adjacent to the school caved in on Friday morning are out of danger. The injured students are undergoing treatment at Patan Hospital and B&B Hospital of Lalitpur.

Nine among those admitted in the hospital are being treated while other four returned home, it was shared at the conference.

School Principal Puhami Kanta Bajracharya Lepcha said that the incident was occurred due to rampant construction of wall in plotted land despite protests from the school and demanded to book the guilty party at the earliest. It may be noted that two students of the school died in the incident.
